TEAS Study Resources
Tutoring & Practice
- • For tutoring help, connect with the MARC (Moose Academic Resource Center) at https://www.vhcc.edu/tutoring-center. The MARC offers tutoring in math, biology, English, ITE and other subjects. Both in-person and online tutoring are available. TEAS tutoring is also available through the MARC in the Library in the Learning Resource Center. MARC staff can help determine where review may be helpful in math, science, English, and reading comprehension. If you are retaking the TEAS and request tutoring in specific subjects, print a complete copy of your TEAS transcript that shows the Topics to Review and bring that with you to the MARC. TEAS transcripts may be accessed at any time in the student’s ATI account at http://www.atitesting.com - under the main menu, click on My Results, click on the exam attempt and then select Download Report.
- • Brainfuse, located at www.vhcc.edu > myVHCC > Brainfuse, has free TEAS prep practice tests – scroll down to Academic Tools > SkillSurfer > Nursing School Exams. Follow prompts to log in. (Students must be enrolled at VHCC with a student ID number in order to access Brainfuse.)
Study Guides and Prep Materials
- • The VHCC library has a limited number of ATI TEAS study guides available to borrow. A student ID is required to check out materials. If you haven’t already received a student ID card, please click on www.vhcc.edu/student-id to make that request.
- • The ATI-TEAS Study Manual, published by the makers of the test, Assessment Technologies Institute, online practice tests, and study packages are available to purchase at https://www.atitesting.com/teas-prep. Study manuals may also be borrowed from the Campus Connection Center in ISC 133.
