Accessibility Feedback
Our Commitment to Open Access
VHCC is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where every student, employee, and visitor can fully participate in our academic and campus life. We strive to ensure that our programs, services, and facilities are accessible to all, and we continuously work to identify and remove barriers that may prevent open access.
Physical Barriers
Physical barriers are obstacles in the “built” environment that limit mobility or access. These may include:
- An inoperable elevator
- Blocked pathways
- Inaccessible entrance
Non-Physical Barriers
Not all barriers are visible. Non-physical barriers can affect how individuals access information, services, or opportunities. These may include:
- Course materials that are not available in accessible formats
- Websites or digital tools that are not screen-reader compatible
- Communication practices that limit understanding or participation
Report a Barrier
If you encounter what you believe to be an accessibility barrier—physical or non-physical—we want to hear from you. Your feedback helps us improve and ensures our campus remains open and inclusive. You can report barriers through our Accessibility Feedback Form by clicking the box below. You will be asked for your contact information so that we can follow-up on the status of your feedback, but you can also indicate that you want your feedback to be anonymous.
