Junior Leadership
Junior Leadership is a program that will give our students more opportunities to be leaders within Upward Bound, our schools, and our communities. Students who are interested in participating in the Junior Leadership Program must complete an application during the spring semester of Sophomore year and meet the following criteria:
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- 50% or higher participation in UB meetings & events
- Be working toward an Advanced Studies Diploma
Once accepted into the program, students will submit a Leadership Project Proposal. Your proposal should include the following items:
- Project idea
- Timeline
- Proposed outcome
- Completion date
- Estimated number of helpers needed
If this sounds overwhelming, don't worry! We will host a workshop in early March to help with this. We also have some ideas to get you started!
