In the early 1990s, two prominent Mohawk communities find their land and livelihood in jeopardy from the encroaching force of gentrification. Determined to protect their rights, the Mohawk take a stand against the Quebec government. In an all-out protest that spans nearly eighty days and in defiance of government force, the Mohawk demonstrate the significance of preserving their traditional way of life.
